(a)   It shall be unlawful and prohibited by law for any truck equipped with tandem rear axles bearing a total of eight (8) rear wheels to travel on any street within the city limits of the City of Lane, Kansas.

(b)   It is hereby provided that special exemption for regular city deliveries of goods and services to the City of Lane, Kansas, may be obtained by written permission of the mayor.

(c)   The penalty for violation of this section shall be a fine, not to exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00).
